By now you should be knowing about - FACTORS AND MULTIPLES, ODD-EVEN NUMBER, DIVISIBILITY RULES.

 SOLVE THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS GIVEN BELOW IN YOUR REMEDIAL NOTEBOOK-

 1.  Write the factors of the following numbers-
a) 12   b) 24    c) 36

 2. Write the 
a)  fifth multiple of 7.
b) eighth multiple of 4.
c) the fourth multiple of 5.  

 3. Add a digit at the end of the numbers to make it divisible by-
a) 4  -    13....
b) 2 -     5....
c) 5 -     46...

 4. Which of the following numbers are odd ?

 111  458   67   930   62    594

 5. Which of these numbers are divisible by both 5 and 10?
545   760   65   320   90   231

 6. Which of these numbers are divisible by both 3 and 2 ( hence will be divisible by 6 also )?

 7. Is 532 divisible by 4 ?

GOOD MORNING BOYS ! You have learnt about commutativity of addition and multiplication. SUBTRACTION AND DIVISION ARE NOT COMMUTATIVE - because if you change the order of numbers in subtraction and division ,you get a different answer. -  Division of a whole number by 0 is not defined. FINDING THE PRODUCT SUITABLE GROUPING Like we did in addition , we will first multiply two numbers whose product should  be a multiple of 10 and then multiply the third number to this. This makes calculations easy.
