Good morning boys ! Welcome to another class of math. You have already revised factors and multiples, even -odd ,prime -composite numbers and prime factorisation. I hope you are confident about these concepts.
Today we will revise - RULES OF DIVISIBILITY
1. WHICH OF THE NUMBERS GIVEN BELOW ARE DIVISIBLE -
a) by 2
41 86 72 93 57
b) by 3
13 312 12 56 90
c) by 4
312 413 616 214 500
d) by 5
110 125 237 114 370
e) by 6
66 47 321 92 46
f) by 9
72 621 82 990 18
g) by 10
50 354 75 450 132
DIVISIBILITY BY 11
RULE- Subtract the last digit from the number formed by the remaining digits.
Example- Is 396 divisible by 11?
39-6 = 33
since 33 is divisible by 11 , so 396 if divisible by 11.
